Cymetech Corporation is a leading producer and global supplier of Ultra-High Purity Dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) products, sold under the ULTRENE™ DCPD trade name.
Headquartered in Houston, TX, with its office and state-of-the-art, high-capacity plant in Calvert City, KY, Cymetech has been producing ultra-high purity DCPD products since 1996. We are the largest producer of such Dicyclopentadiene products in the U.S. and are widely recognized for our unsurpassed product quality and consistency, superior customer service, and security of supply.
Cymetech began operation in 1996 as a business of the B.F. Goodrich Co. Cymetech began operating as an independent company in March 2002 and was named for the envisioned new technology using ultra-high purity DCPD, CYclopentadiene MEtathesis TECHnology. In September 2004, Cymetech made a decision to focus solely on the production of ultra-high purity DCPD. Later in 2008, Cymetech was acquired by the Sojitz Corporation, a global integrated trading company.
